We have talked to 40 of our customers over the past two months to understand how they use MeatBorsa, what they like and what they think could be improved. The verdict was clear:

There are so many listings, that they have hard time finding what they are looking for.

And that makes sense. When we started MeatBorsa, there was only a handful listings every week and finding meat was not a problem. Today, however, there is over 200 new listings every week. So, instead of going to the seaside - we've spent June and July working around the clock to solve that problem for you - our customers.

And today we are releasing, our biggest update to MeatBorsa yet!

New Home Screen

When you first log in to MeatBorsa, we present you with a brand new Home Screen, which gives a quick access to everything on MeatBorsa. No more endless scrolling - but directly go to what you need.

Category Stores

When we talked to you, it turns out that most of you specialize in some way. For example, if you typically work with pork - than you almost never buy chicken. To make it easier to find what you are looking for, we have introduced category stores - so you can focus on the type of meat you care about.

Newest Products

Something that we loved as feedback, but found a bit surprising is that most of you visit MeatBorsa every day - to see what are the new offers for the day. So far, it was rather challenging to quickly see what's new on the marketplace, so we have fixed this for you as well! Right on the Home Screen, you can now see all the new products added in the last 24 hours.

Supplier Stores

It turns out that people like the people that they like. :) In other words, many buyers enjoy to buy goods from the suppliers they worked with before, so when looking for meat - they often start with offerings of a particular supplier. To make that easier, we have introduced Supplier Stores where you can find all the offerings from a particular supplier.

No one wants to be left out of the loop! What is everyone talking about? What is everyone looking at?

Something that we are introducing for the first time in MeatBorsa, not just making simpler, is the list of products that people open and engage with most often!

A little hint to our suppliers: People engage by far the most with listings that have photos!



Origin Stores

Something that I personally found surprising, is that buyers tend to have a pretty strong preference when it comes to the origin of the meat. Some prefer Spain, others Germany, yet others Poland... We have now made browsing for products from particular origin easy-breezy!

Powerful Filters & Sorting

You can now narrow down your search for meat by multiple criterias, be it meat type, origin, price, incoterms... including together sort the listings by price, quantity, popularity or publication date.

One-click questions

And one, last thing... It turns out that the first questions buyers ask suppliers tend to repeat. To make the communication even simpler, we have introduced one-click common questions.

What's next?

No, we are not going on a well-deserved vacation.

In August, we are preparing even a more massive set of improvements... but more on that later.
