The weekly reference price for slaughter pigs in Germany, set by the producer association every Wednesday. Most European pork supply contracts settle against it.
+When do prices update?
VEZG decides on Wednesdays; the other markets publish Thursday and Friday. Each card shows when its source last published.
+What does /kg SG mean?
Schlachtgewicht — price per kilogram of carcass weight. Live-weight quotes price the whole animal, so they read lower.
