Optimeat is a Romanian based company present in the market since 1993, active in commerce of meat cuts: chicken, turkey, duck, pork, beef, lamb, sheep and frozen vegetables and fruits which we buy from local producers as well from abroad. And we are also active in commerce with live animals: bovine, swine, ovine, caprine. In 1998 the group was extended by a wholesale market in center of Bucharest including cold stores & cooling chambers and engaged in distribution with facilities renovated to EU standards with a capacity of 10,000 tons of frozen food and total surface of 10000 m2 of Halls in 71000 m2 of yards. Starting from 2002 is specially focused on meat business in a part of the same wholesale marketplace with: - Cutting plant - Deboning and Packing plant - Semi-processing meat - Shock freezing tunnel - Logistic systems and cold storage - Distribution with specialized trucks for meat - Import & export - Foreign and domestic commerce of meat: Beef, Lamb, and Poultry - Collecting, fattening, and quarantining the livestock in our farms: Bovine, Ovine, Caprine - Foreign and domestic commerce of meat and livestock: Bovine, Swine, Ovine, Caprine (Destinated for Breeding or fattening and Slaughtering) The group entered the field of livestock commerce in 2014 and is already perceived as an active presence. The group has made a reliable partnership with farms from Romania, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, and Czech Republic, where pure and crossed breeds of cattle, sheep and goats are raised by professional farmers. In Romania, OPTIMEAT SRL Company holds cattle and sheep farms in Southeast of the country. The livestock export is focused on Middle East market and North African countries, also to Western Europe for slaughtering. The meat export is destined to Middle East Market, Western Europe, and the Far East.
