Slaughterhouse & Processing We keep the lines from the farmer to the slaughterhouse as short as possible. We buy our piglets ourselves and ensure the quickest and shortest possible transport to our slaughterhouse. Despite the fact that the animal is processed for consumption, animal welfare is our top priority. Pigarné will make every effort to make the whole process from livestock farmer to slaughter as ethical as possible, including the shortest and fastest possible transport to our slaughterhouse. This contributes to the high quality of our piglet meat. Slaughtering is carried out by a highly-skilled and driven team in our own modern slaughterhouse. We then cut the piglet meat into the desired technical parts and quantities, and pack it exactly as the customer wants it. We also provide contract slaughtering, home slaughtering and emergency slaughtering for cattle. In this case too, the customer decides and we do the rest.
